Safety comes first
On this small town we are living in, it is unusual that the neighborhood owns a car or a bigger vehicle. The typical means of transportation here is passenger jeep, a bus, or a passenger single motorbike. Aside from having them for passengers, I also notice the young ones or even the adults usually own a single motorbike. Aside from it is cost a little expensive compare to a car, it’s also easier to drive. Just that safety should come first, and using a real motorcycle one should consider or should have rather a helmet and boots/shoes. These help the motorcyclist prevent head injuries or more traumas upon any accidents. It would be necessary for them to have something like a pleasanton motorcycle accident attorney when in any case; there is more than one victim to the crime. Oh gosh, why am I talking about accidents? That’s may be because I just remembered when I almost lost my fiancé from a car accident few years ago. Well, I wish everyone to keep safe always especially on the road.

Refreshing in spite Sunny Sunday!
Today I had a great time with family and friends as we spent the day out in a pool. We had chit-chats and picture taking every after swimming. It was very refreshing during the afternoon with the sun so high. We had had so much fun especially my younger brother who just got back to himself after few days of sickness. It really adds up to stress when someone is sick in the family, isn’t it? It made me wants to learn more about healthcare because once a family member is sick or even when I am sick, I tend to forget what I have learned from school and as a nurse. So now I am ON for healthcare job search since I can’t go somewhere else as of the moment I am waiting for my Fiancée visa to the US be granted. Maybe I can find a job related there too if I go searching as early as now. LUCK!
El Niño in the Philippines
Today, I finally went out to a public swimming pool with family. And it was really so refreshing I may say. It has been a month of this so called “El Niño”. Have you heard about it? According to Wikipedia.org:
El Niño-Southern Oscillation, often called simply ENSO, is a climate pattern that occurs across the tropical Pacific Ocean on average every five years, but over a period which varies from three to seven years, and is therefore, widely and significantly, known as "quasi-periodic." ENSO is best-known for its association with floods, droughts and other weather disturbances in many regions of the world, which vary with each event. Developing countries dependent upon agriculture and fishing, particularly those bordering the Pacific Ocean, are the most affected.
ENSO is composed of an oceanic component, called El Niño (or La Niña), which is characterized by warming or cooling of surface waters in the tropical eastern Pacific Ocean, and an atmospheric component, the Southern Oscillation, which is characterized by changes in surface pressure in the tropical western Pacific. The two components are coupled: when the warm oceanic phase (known as El Niño) is in effect, surface pressures in the western Pacific are high, and when the cold phase is in effect (La Niña), surface pressures in the western Pacific are low.[2][3] Mechanisms that cause the oscillation remain under study.
Indeed it is very warm during the day until late in the afternoon or even until evening; then follows a rotating brownout which affects most part of the country. I’ll talk about it later on.

Saving for new TV!
My sister who actually owns this page has started going back to school for a month already and I’m somehow glad she’s actually doing great at it. I am also flattered that she’s entrusting me to write what I want on this site. Not only that it keeps me busy and not feeling bored but also it helps me earn a little through blogging. The first plan on where to spend the money that I’m going to earn is on a new set of TV. Yep, we actually really need one here. We have a smaller TV already but thinking how old it is, it might not last a little longer. Mama and I did go to the appliance center and found a bunch of set to choose. We both loved the Samsung Slimfit series. We didn’t buy it directly because it was little bit expensive for us. So as I got back home, I was reading the review about the TV set and learned a lot on the site of Samsung. Next time I earn more and enough, I’ll absolutely go back to the center and purchase one. Wish me luck!

Contempleting on a New Cell Phone
I wanted a new cell phone, but I don't like those that needed an internet service to the plan which I really don't care. I don't need a phone with the internet unless I don't have one in our school library or at home. I can live without it on my phone. It just needs to be able to take and make important calls. That's all I need. I've had my cell phone for almost 4 years now. It might be a good time for a change and perhaps get a better working one which battery lasts longer than what I got for a while now.
I really like the looks of a Blackberry but with the extra internet subscription fee which can't be eliminated when you buy the unit, it's just not going to work for me. I don't really see the need for an internet on my phone. Oh well, I have to find something, or better yet settle with what I already have! I have to read something about an extended service plan at goodsamesp.com, so bye for now! I will tell you later what I decided on the cell phone issue.

Keeping Myself Busy
I wanted to do another Math homework which only has 3 questions but before that, I will finish my tasks on some assignments on my blogs first. I want to put these behind me and concentrate with my studies later too. I have set aside a reading review for tomorrow's test in English. So far, we have had 2 tests and I am not all that happy with the results. Although, I did OK. I can't settle for that OK alone. I want to do an excellent job next time. I hope I can do that tomorrow. I would be glad to get a 90 or better yet the highest score. I don't think that's impossible. I can try and prove to myself that I really can. We will see.
