Recently, I have been eyeing on a DSLR as I have found a new hobby. Photography is one thing that I appreciate. Looking at the works of some aspiring amateur photographers and especially the works of the pro make me want to venture into something that I think I can do as well. I may not be aiming to become the most artistic in the field, but I just want this as a hobby. There are definitely a lot of choices out there when it comes to your first DSLR, and I tell you I was a bit confused which one best fit my personality. It took me some time of research and reading on forums and websites that have great information that greatly helped me choose my first gadget to boot.
Anyway, to make a long story short and after weeks of reading reviews I ended up with the Canon EOS Rebel XSi or the Canon 450D. It’s the latest in the entry-level category of DSLR in this brand and I think I made the right choice. The other competing brand Nikon D80 and the D60 were in my list of choices as well. I look forward to learning more about photography and would love to come up with nice photos. I got my camera at B&H and chose the Canon EOS XSi a.k.a 450D kit lens because of the IS which I think makes it more appealing than the Canon 400D aside from the live view and the bigger mega pixel. Other than that, the camera is definitely a must-have for beginners. See mine here.
