The hubby and I went to Florida on my first year in the states during our first winter together. We stopped over at St. Augustine’s beach and there we took the opportunity to get some cool and fresh air off the ocean. I remembered him talking about Ponce De Leon looking for the fountain of youth. From then on, whenever we go to a beach and get our feet wet he would then wash his face with the cold water and mention he just found the fountain of youth. I get a good laugh at that significant line of his.

Talent Management
Only a few days more and my son and I will be back in the arms of his dad after a long vacation. I am looking forward to it and I can’t imagine what hubby’s reaction will be when seeing our son walking already since the time we left he was only crawling. He thinks he will be shocked and that he is very anxious to see how big our son has become. He sure is big now and is a handful more than ever.
Speaking of which he has developed some talents that perhaps a lot of one year olds may be showing off to their parents. It sure is a lot of fun and an interesting journey for a little guy like my son who can now dance to Barney’s singing. I could only daydream I am his manager every time I encourage him to dance once the show is on. I think I need a talent management for this munchkin all along. Anyway, I can only hope that he will be good on our trip and won’t give me a hard time at all. I’ll just keep my fingers crossed.

Weight Loss
In our family on my mother’s side, she and her siblings especially with females have gotten big or should I say have gained weight since they got married and have kids. It’s one of those things that I wanted to be watchful for --- weight gain it is. I considered myself to be in the same shoe, but luckily not this soon after I gave birth to my son. He’s only my first baby and I have retained my pre-pregnancy weight already. But, still I have to be careful because weight loss can be hard in case I encounter such a weight problem like my aunts have.

Keep Dreaming
As I may have mentioned in my other blog, we are looking forward to finishing a project which is the renovation of a condo. It’s not for sell though, but for rent. It’s going to be a good source of additional income for us. In the future, I would love to see us settle in a single family home somewhere rustic and surrounded with nature’s best. I don’t mean living in a forest at all. I have seen one place that the hubby loves just like those locations shown by the Branson real estate. They simply look adorable. If only we have all the dough in the world I would love to live in one of those beauties right now.

The Bride
When I attended my friend's wedding I couldn't help but get emotional. I was just holding my tears from falling while her parents walk her down the aisle. She looked great that day and I know she was nervous. It reminded me of my own big day. Congratulations to my dear friend and I am happy for her!

Where's The Ring?
A good friend of mine is getting married this Saturday. I don’t know whether they got themselves wedding rings yet because last time I asked her she said they haven’t bought anything for the reason that she was waiting for her fiancé to give the money to finance the preparation. A ring makes a good symbol of the bond as a couple and I believe it is just as important as the ceremony itself. Few days from now, they will be tying the knot and I hope they have not overlooked on the said symbol to be prepared before they get all excited to walk down the aisle. It’s going to be funny when they are about to say their vows and exchange rings, they will have to think twice whether they already got them or not.

Boat Donations For Kids and Teens Videos
Do you have a boat that you don't find time to care for anymore because of a busy schedule? Did it come to the point that you tell yourself, "I'll Donate my Boat."? Yes, you can. Boat Angel accepts boat donation for a good cause. If there is such a thing as donate your cars there is also Boat Donations. How does it work? Just like carangel.com which is a non-profit company that uses car and other donations to make videos for kids and teens. Boat Angel does the same and have given away over 2.4 million videos.
You can help change the world through Angel Ministries by donating your old boat or yacht. They will convert your boat into something that will be use to help children and adults alike who are in need of financial assistance around the world. Your boat will be of great help to others by helping charities. The process is as follows:

Friends Will Be Friends
I'm glad we got home before the rain poured. Just so you know we went to a friend's house for today's fiesta celebration of their town. I am delighted to have met some of my long lost friends and former classmates in high school and college who came. It reminded us of our constant gatherings when we used to hangout on weekends or whenever there is someone who celebrates birthday or fiesta. Wow, time flies! It's been ages that we have known each other and turning back the time when we were still teens and met yet again while some are still single and others have a child or two already is really something. Isn't it wonderful?

Hinkley Lighting
Another month has gone by and to think it’s a new year, it’s amazing how time flies. Hubby has yet to attend to one project he wanted to get started this year. That will be the renovation of our condo so we can set it up for rent. We might need to get that Hinkley lighting at lightingshowplace.com in order to jazz up the place’s new look. I will tell him to purchase the lighting needs from them as soon as he gets back from his trip. He will be happy that I have at least contributed something to this big project of ours.

Granpa's Boy
Casey likes his grandpa a lot. Sometimes he just ignores me like he will never need me again. He likes the fact that once his grandpa gets hold of him, they will both be going out of the house and go some place else which is more fun for him, thus, he likes outdoors. He only comes to me when he is thirsty. Such a boy he is!

New Pocket Watches
Before I know it, I will be celebrating another birthday which is this coming June. I will be another year older. Pretty soon my age will soon be off the calendar. I am thinking about making a wish list for my birthday since the family remembers it. It will make life easier when it comes to gift giving. I would love to get one of those new pocket watches from jewelelegance.com one day. I might just tell hubby about it so he will get it for me. How about that for an addition to my jewelry box?
