My passport is one of the most important possessions that I have knowing that I am not a citizen in this country just yet. I am a permanent resident who is actually waiting for my green card which will be good for ten years. But, I will be a citizen before ten years will come. I learned that after my 3rd year as a permanent resident I can already apply for citizenship. Needs New Shoes
It’s only July and hubby’s dress shoes I gifted him last Christmas need a replacement already. My golly, I thought those will last a year. It’s less than a year obviously and already damaged two pairs of dress shoes from really well-known brands. I got him a really nice looking pair from Florsheim and the soles got holes now. They are still in good shape and the leather shine really well though except for the sole that is.
I guess the sole's material is not made for walking and for a rugged surface. Those must be ideal for office use only. So, the hubby is asking me to order another one online that he could use for his formal wear or for giving golf lessons and he could send the old pair to be fixed somewhere else since only the soles are really worn out. I Need a New Computer Desk
I spend a lot of time in front of the computer everyday. It has become my favorite spot since after getting married. LOL! Must-Have: Bob Stroller
From time to time, I take my son out for a stroll and even walk for more than an hour to where his dad is working. That happens when I get really tired of the usual thing we do and see. I don’t really mind walking that far but I am just complaining when it comes to the stroller that my son has.

Happy Birthday not to Me
Today is someone’s birthday in the family. I must admit I haven’t purchased anything yet. I will surely do it after this writing as I will be checking the wish list provided. WarGames: Back In Theaters
Sometimes when I see an old movie on television, I just can’t ignore it especially when it’s one of my favorites. I bet a lot of people have the same experience. You never get tired of a certain movie and the interest just kicks back when you can’t simply flashback what happened. You can’t let it pass but watch it again and find it out for yourself. If I have to name a certain movie that I can’t forget from the 80’s it would be An Officer and a Gentleman with Richard Gere.
I was born in 1982 when this movie came out and saw this couple of years ago and actually loved the story. Well, it has won 2 Oscars and another 6 wins & 13 nominations which this movie definitely deserved. I like the movie even if it was dated on my birth year. Who would have thought I would when most people prefer the greatest and the latest. Old movies are still great as long as you get the right ones.
Did you know that the WarGames is going to be played on its 25th Anniversary nationwide? On Thursday, the 24th of July this film will be showing for a night only which makes it really interesting because it will show interviews of the people behind the film like the creators and the cast. These were never seen before. Do you remember Broderick and Ally Sheedy? Of course, they are in the film. Another Lens Coming
I finally decided to get the Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens with the 52mm Haze UV filter from Adorama after comparing with B&H. I don’t know why there’s a difference between the two when both are US made. Adorama has a cheaper shipping fee which is $5 to be the least while the other store I would have paid $8-$10 depending on the size or weight perhaps. My haul should be here next week. My, this craze is unstoppable. I’m only a beginner in photography and yet I wanted to buy more accessories.

I’ve been meaning to start potty training my 18 month old son as soon as he reached that age, but I can’t seem to get started. I guess he is not ready. I haven’t attempted just yet, but it can wait. Since graduating from college, I have always wanted to get my first job. Until I got married my chances are getting thinner. LOL! I really wanted to try working as if motherhood isn’t enough work. Worst Pick-up Line
Sometime in a woman’s life, a man will try to pursue her with pick-up lines that suck. Not just from strangers or someone they personally know. How about a friend? When it’s your good old friend? Got It!
I got my macro lens yesterday. I got too anxious so I decided to take test shots out of the box. I hope to get out of the house today so I can practice and get some little creatures out there to scare. LOL!
