The holiday’s feasts are over. Well, for Thanksgiving and Christmas anyway. You can get a diet platter on New Year’s if you will but that doesn’t mean you are excuse from looking for a diet product after all those dinner parties and brunches we all attended. LOL! Anyway, I feel lucky I won’t need one for now. I am still looking at the same numbers on my weighing scale after all the festivities and what not.

Bountiful new year
This year’s Christmas was fun although there were minimal presents and a brunch instead of dinner like in the past Christmases. The economy struck big time for most families who have lost money in the stock market and in all other aspects in life. Anyway, I got a gift card and a sweater from the family. Some materials things that I really needed at home as well were given by my behalf. After all, it’s the thought that counts. We are still thankful for all the bountiful blessings for this year. We are looking forward to another fruitful one. Have a good one yourself.

Conversion rate optimization
My blogging mojo is getting low and sooner or later it will all be gone. I wonder why? I have no idea. When I first started with it I thought I would be doing this for forever. It appears that my liking to it is going to be temporary and I will be tired of it eventually. When website optimization and conversion rate optimization (whatchamacallit) became known to website owners, I thought it would be an interesting thing to work on which still is for serious people, but I guess not for me. Well, at least for a little while. Sigh.

Christmas Celebration and Birthdays in One
I am planning on treating my family back home for Christmas. It will be a celebration of my son’s birthday which is technically on the 28th and my younger brother’s birthday on the 27th. They will be best celebrated on Christmas Eve back home. Anyway, I am also telling my sister to buy a Christmas tree and some outdoor lighting to decorate my parents’ house and then invite our cousins, uncles and aunts and some neighbors and friends. LOL! It won’t be a great one. I guess just enough to make a Christmas day really memorable for them. It’s a way of thanking God for all the great blessings He endowed us this year.
My Christmas Tree Color
I love our little Christmas tree. A real fresh tree that is! I had so much fun trimming it and definitely enjoyed picking out the ornaments, lighting and what not. Anyway, we cut it ourselves so it was quite an experience for me at tree farm as well. It makes the whole thing more meaningful. I was a bit undecided n the color theme that I wanted to see on my tree so I ended up with silver and gold but later added some red on it as it seemed to be lacking something. So, red, silver and gold are it! I also had a fun time taking this fun quiz from blogthings.com. Try it out too.

Have a great holiday!
The holidays are keeping other people busy while some are trying to cut back on spending. The economic situation is really affecting most families these days. Although, this time of year you can’t avoid to spend on presents and toys for kids and for the family on a once a year reunion to celebrate the birth of Christ, keeping it simple yet memorable would be ideal. We don’t really need pricey presents or that we need to demand on gifts we can hardly afford this time because what’s more important is still the thought and the time we can spend with everybody in the family or with our friends. Anyway, got to go and read some mesothelioma information for now. Happy holidays!

Coffee Makers for Christmas
I haven’t done my Christmas shopping yet. I have updated our wish lists already but I doubt whether I would tell the family about it. Well, for our son’s wish list I might since his birthday is only a few days after Christmas. I have nothing in particular that I really wanted to get so come what may. I will be more than happy to get anything that day. It might be too late to inform them about my wish list though if they had already bought presents earlier this year. Anyway, coffee makers will make good presents as well. So, if you want one or for the family, 1stincoffee.com has lots of them!

Engagement rings
For most women the most appealing accessories on the body are engagement rings. Well, who wouldn’t be when those rings spell big rocks? Diamonds are indeed women’s best friend. They glitter and sparkle which make them special. Although, an engagement ring doesn’t have to have a diamond it can either be a different kind of gem as long as it serves its purpose which is a symbol of being promised of tying a knot as a couple sooner or later. Anyhow, I must say that I like engagement rings just by looking at them they never cease to amaze how beautiful they are.
